DESCRIPTION:The Vimutti community is currently engaging in the vassa retreat\, which began on 30 July and lasts until October 26. \nYou are very welcome to come to Vimutti for the day to participate in the optional schedule\, which will be in place every day of the vassa:\n\n08:30 – Sitting Meditation\n09:30 – Walking Meditation\n10:30 – Sitting Meditation\n11:00 – Dhamma Reflection\n11:30 – Satisampajañña: Meal\n12:00 – Satisampajañña: Meal clean-up\n13:00 – Rest/Individual practise\n14:00 – Sitting Meditation\n15:00 – Walking Meditation\n16:00 – Sitting Meditation\n\nPlease note: this is an optional schedule for the Vimutti residents\, so you may or may not find others who are participating on any given day at any given time. The meal proceedings are as normal with a dhamma talk and discussion.\nDuring vassa\, activities at the monastery will be kept to a minimum in order to provide a quiet environment for practice. The activity that continues will be the monthly Working Bee. At the Vihara\, activities continue as usual with a monk from Vimutti leading the monthly Open Day and Sangha-led Sunday evening puja on fourth Sundays.
